Cobra 25 ltd VFO WIND UP?

Hello, is there any way to make the VFO windup mod to cobras 25 or uniden 68 just like the cobra 29 and 148?

There isn't a Delta-tune. Because of this there isn't TX/RX switching on the reference crystal. Without that present there is no easy way to do the windup.

It looks like most of the 25 schematics don't even have a capacitance diode on the 10.240 crystal. The circuit would need to be heavily modified.
