For future reference, you can see the numbers better on the Magnum S-45 schematic:

Receive you missed:
C157 = C279
C154 = C298
C155 = C299
Transmit:
C128 = C261
C129 = C259
C187 = C283
C191 = C397
C190 = C391

Re: magnum delta force
I am gonna be doing this mod on a deltaforce. Would you be so kind as to list the values and such like the other radios listed please. I have an original with the 1969's as finals. thanks in advance....

Re: magnum delta force
Receive:
Change C146 to a 22uF, 16 volt electrolytic, observe polarity.
Change C144, C148, C298, C299 to 2.2uF mylar, polypropylene or non-polar electrolytic.
Change C279 to a 2.2uF, 16 volt electrolytic, observe polarity
Change C293 to a 1000uF, 25 volt electrolytic, observe polarity.
Transmit:
Change C259 to a 10uF, 16 volt Tantalum or electrolytic, observe polarity
Change C261 to a 2.2uF, 16 volt electrolytic, observe polarity
Change C262 to a .001uF disc cap
Change C283 and C397 to 2.2uF mylar, polypropylene or non-polar electrolytic.
Change C391 to a 220uF, 16 volt electrolytic, observe polarity
You will have to bypass the echo board to get any bass through the mic jack
Direct Inject:
at R413 end of C397 through a 4.7uF mylar, polypropylene or non-polar electrolytic.
Change C146 to a 22uF, 16 volt electrolytic, observe polarity.

Re: magnum delta force
thanks for the quick response.
2 things....the new set of component locations are a little different from previous posts, and I cannot find C255 anywhere. Maybe a misprint? should'nt it be C299?

Re: magnum delta force
Yes, I FU'd... sorry
Should be 299, yes. I'll edit the post
I think "grimace" got some of them wrong. The newest list I posted was researched by me yesterday. Other than my C299 mistake it is the guide to follow. Ignore the previous posts other than using the S45 schematic as it is easier to read.
Thanks for pointing out my typing error. I was on the phone part of the time when I was typing it up.
If you want the mod to go even lower you can use 4.7uF in place of the 2.2's
cheers
