If same board as the raptor looks like C229 but wait for GF to varify.

Yes, looks like C229, as long as the Raptor II is the same as the Raptor.

Goldfinger, why does your signature show 2SC1307 ?

Should we be buying stock in this transistor or something?

If they are all discontinued what to we use for replacements? I've been using MOSfets in the 148's, work the same as a 1969 in my opinion.

But for a cobra 2G, if the 1968 finals go bad, is there a drop in replacement? Sorry to hijack the thread, but can you point to the right location please?

Many thanks... :-)

This is a new CB-20W (2SC1969) Eleflow replacement RF power transistor for CB/HAM radios.

The 2SC1969 was used and still is used in countless makes and models of multimode type 10 metre and Citizen Band transceivers as a final RF output and is probably the most popular medium power RF transistor ever produced.

Since the Mitsubishi 2SC1969 became obsolete in 2003 it has become harder and more expensive to source and the amount of cheap FAKE Mitsubishi parts which have flooded on to the market has only added to the problem, most of these so called "new" Mitsubishi stock are just counterfeit poor quality parts which produce very low output and in most cases do not work at all.

NOTE: Transistors may be marked "CB-20W" or "C1969" as pictures depending on stock availability.

SPECS-

Make, Eleflow Technologies.

Part # CB-20W = 2SC1969

Condition, Brand new

Package, T-30 = TO-220 FIN = COLLECTOR (common collector)

I found the 1307 logo, online back in 2000. It is the authentic look from back in the day, so I display it for posterity. 8)
