Can you widen the RX on these 858 TRC-457 radios? Seems pretty narrow and tinny stock. I noticed it doesn't have a 455 filter, just a 7.8.

Saw the cap mods in a different part of the forum for the TX mods, thanks goldfinger.

It should sound pretty nice. The D-104 will sound good but wount have the real low tones a broadcast type mic will have.
